    Der Forschungsbericht "Rough Set Theory Based Automatic Text Categorization and the Handling of Semantic Heterogeneity" von Xueying Zhang ist in Buchform auf Englisch erschienen. Zhang hat in ihrer Arbeit ein Verfahren basierend auf der Rough Set Theory entwickelt, das Beziehungen zwischen Schlagwörtern verschiedener Vokabulare herstellt.     Die neue Ausgabe des ISBN Standards wurde am 1. Juni veroeffentlicht. Die neue Ausgabe, die in den vergangenen drei Jahren ueberarbeitet wurde, enthaelt die weitreichesten Aenderungen zur ISBN seit ihrer Standardisierung in 1970. Ab 1. Januar 2007 wird die ISBN nicht laenger als 10-stellige Nummer sondern als 13-stellige Nummer genutzt werden und zum ersten Mal identisch sein mit ihren entsprechenden Barcode Nummern.
